Date Posted: 13-09-2019

Post-Graduate students from ICAR-NBPGR accompanied by Professor (PGR Faculty) visited the Milleninium Seed Bank, Wakehurst and Royal Botanic Garden, Kew from 2 to 7, Sept 2019. The visit was supported by the NAHEP_CAAST World Bank project. The scholars also visited the Jordell Laboratory, the oldest, largest and the most important reference collection site with 800,000 fungi collections as well as world’s largest Herbarium. Visit to the research facilities and exposure to the ongoing research programs was an excellent opportunity to the scholars to expand the horizons about conservation of wild species.
