Quinquennial Review Team (QRT) Meeting of ICAR-NBPGR & AICRNPC

Quinquennial Review Team (QRT) Meeting of ICAR-NBPGR & AICRNPC was organized at ICAR-NBPGR Regional Station, Shimla from 16th-17th September 2019. The meeting was chaired by Dr. MP Pandey in presence of QRT members Dr. Bhagmal, Dr. Nagachan, Dr. PS Naik, Dr. KN Nair, Dr. BS Phogat, Dr. SC Dubey and Director of ICAR-NBPGR, Dr. Kuldeep Singh. It was attended by OICs of ICAR-NBPGR Regional Stations (Shimla, Bhowali, Jodhpur, & Shillong) and AICRNPC partners. Dr. Pandey emphasized on identifying research gaps which are needed to be addressed for future research advancements as per mandate of ICAR-NBPGR and AICRNPC. The proper monitoring of research output was the need of the hour which would ensure sustainable use of plant genetic resources among farming societies and existing societies. His suggestions were widely appreciated by QRT members who also had similar opinions. The event was ended with vote of thanks by QRT member secretary Dr. SC Dubey.
