India is celebrating Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

India is celebrating Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of progressive India and the glorious history of it’s people, culture and achievements. To commemorate the occasion, ICAR is organizing 75 events on agriculture, food, nutrition. One of the events will be celebrated by NBPGR on International Biodiversity Day on the theme “We're part of the solution For Nature”. NBPGR is organizing a virtual event on International Day of Biodiversity on 22 May 2021 at 1.30 PM (IST), including a lecture on ‘Agrobiodiversity & Food Systems for Sustainable Nutrition and Health’ by Dr Danny Hunter, Senior Scientist with Bioversity International.
