Vigilance Awareness Week 2022 (31st October to 6th November 2022) at ICAR-NBPGR

The Vigilance Awareness Week, 2022 was observed from 31st Oct to 6th November 2022 at ICAR-NBPGR, New Delhi. The main theme of observing Vigilance Awareness Week was "Corruption-free India for a developed nation". The Vigilance Awareness Week, 2022 commenced with the Integrity Pledge taken by the Institute staff members on 31st Oct at the ICAR-NBPGR, New Delhi. During this week, bureau staff members were encouraged to spread and promote awareness through the social media accounts of the Institute. The various competitions like posters making and slogan writing competition on “Corruption-free India for a developed nation", essay writing competition on “How can we make India a corruption- free nation” and debate competition on “Integrity: A way of life” were organized to celebrate during the vigilance awareness week during 31st Oct to 6th Nov, 2022. On the closing day on 4rth November of the vigilance awareness week, 2022, the prize distribution function was organized. The Director of ICAR-NBPGR, Dr. G.P Singh Ji graced the occasion as chief guest on the closing day of the function of vigilance week, 2022. Dr. Mool Chand welcomed the Chief Guest, HOD’s and all the participants present in the Vigilance awareness week. Dr. Vinod Kumar, Vigilance Officer, ICAR-NBPGR, New Delhi presented the report of the Vigilance Awareness Week, 2022 and explained various activities performed during the period. The Director NBPGR, Dr. G.P. Singh Ji, Chief Guest of the function awarded the prizes to the winners of various competitions conducted during the week. In his address, he expressed his views on the need and importance of observing Vigilance Awareness Week and emphasized to maintain honesty, sincerity and integrity in all walks of everybody’s life. In the end, Dr. Vinod K Sharma offered the vote of thanks to the Chief Guest, Heads of the Divisions, Scientists, staff members, participants and members of the organizing committee.
