NBPGR exchanges MoU with industry during Agri-Tech Investors Meet (19-07-2013)

Exchange of MoUs between NBPGR and Basmati Export Development Foundation (APEDA) on 19 July 2013 during Agri-Tech Investors Meet organized by NAIP. Dr. KC Bansal, Director, NBPGR exchanged the documents in the presence of Dr. Kasturi Rangan, Hon. Member for Planning Commission of GoI (Science) in the esteemed presence of Dr. S Ayyapan, Director General, ICAR & Secretary DARE, Dr. William Darr, Director General, ICARISAT and other dignitaries at a glittering function organized at NASC, Pusa, New Delhi. The technology transferred was “GMO Detection in Rice and other crops”. The method was innovated and technology was transferred by Dr. (Mrs.) Gurinder Jit Randhawa (Principal Scientist), Division of Genomic Resources.
