Visit of undergraduate students of Birsa Agricultural University, Faculty of Agriculture to the ICAR-NBPGR Regional Station, Ranchi on 20.05.2017

41 undergraduate students of Birsa Agricultural University, Faculty of Agriculture, visited ICAR-NBPGR, Regional Station, Ranchi on 20.05.2017 along with Dr. A.K. Tiwary, Scientist (Horticulture). The students were made aware of the germplasm collection and conservation activities being carried out by the NBPGR, particularly the Ranchi Station by Officer Incharge, Dr. S.K. Bishnoi through presentation, exhibition and visit to the field gene bank. The students were also apprised about the field gene bank conservation of the germplasm of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, horticultural crops etc during the visit to the field gene bank of Ranchi Station.
