Salient Achievements:
  1. Gave 23 recommendations on cultivation practices of arid legumes as PI Agronomy (AICRP on Arid Legumes).
  2. Made 47 recommendations on standerdization of agronomy of Underutilized plants as Technical programme breeder agronomy (AICRN on Underutilized Crops). 
  3. 53 varieties of 13 life support crops specifically suitable for the tribal, backward and hilly areas of 10 states were identified, their proformance was demonstrated in the fields of 8778 farmers as PI (Life Support Crops) Jai Vigyan National Science and Technology Mission on Household Food and Nutrition Security.
  4. 740q quality seed of these varieties was produced and distributed among 9000 farmer and 263 farmers were trained in seed production of life support crops as PI (Life Support Crops) Jai Vigyan National Science and Technology Mission on Household Food and Nutrition Security.
  5. Nine refinements were made in the cultivation practices of the tribal area crops of M.P., A.P. and Orrisa as Coordianting PI ICAR Cess Fund Scheme. 
  6. 3408 accessions of landraces were collected, 1647 accessions were evaluated and 107 high yielding landraces were identified for cultivation and 67 varieties were identified to be suitable for cultivation in the tribal areas of Chhattisgarh, A.P. and Orissa as Coordinating PI.
  7.  Planned and Coordinated exploration missions in 10 zones of the country as CCPI (underutilized crops), NATP on Plant Diversity.
  8. Associated with identification/release of four varieties of potential crops as Network Coordinator AICRN on Potential Crops.
