NRRD Portal

The NRRD Portal is a web based portal that provides information about 15,000 rice germplasm accessions conserved in the National Genebank located at the National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources, New Delhi, India. The principal objective of the NRRD Portal is to facilitate use of germplasm accessions in rice improvement programmes through enhanced access to information. The Portal does not process the germplasm requests. Users may request for germplasm at http://www.nbpgr.ernet.in/geq/.

The NRRD Portal hosts data generated or compiled during the implementation of DBT sponsored project “NATIONAL RICE RESOURCE DATABASE”(2009-2013) by NBPGR in accordance with the standard procedures.
