Germplasm Field Day on Kharif Pulses organized at ICAR-NBPGR-Regional Station Shimla,H.P

ICAR-NBPGR Regional station Shimla organized germplasm field day on kharif pulses (Frenchbean, Adzuki bean, Ricebean, Cowpea) on August 28, 2017.A total of 538 germplasm representing various kharif pulses of Himalayas was exposed to various researcher, Pulse Breeder and scientist from ICAR institutes and SAUs . All participant have identified and selected elite germplasm for their ongoing crop improvement programme. Dr Mohar Singh, OIC, NBPGR, Shimla highlighted the brief history, mandate, achievements and resources of station. Programme was closed by healthy discussion on future prospects of germplasm.
