On 23.12.2022 ICAR-NBPGR Shimla displayed an exhibition on conserving and promoting the diversity of traditional crops and fruit diversity of NW Himalayan region on the occasion of National Farmer’s Day & 74th foundation day of ICAR-CPRI Shimla. In which Dr. Rajeshwar Singh Chandel, Vice Chancellor, Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar University of Horticulture & Forestry, Nauni Solan, Himachal Pradesh was the chief guest. Dr. N. K Pandey, President Indian Potation Union and Dr. Devendra Kumar, Director (Acting) ICAR-CPRI was also present. Dr. Rajeshwar Singh Chandel, and other delegates Shimla appreciated ICAR-NBPGR, Shimla stall and work in conserving and promoting traditional crops. Dr. Narender Negi, Scientist and Sh. Dayal Singh, Technical Officer from the station present during the occasion.
