Salient Achievements:
  • Germplasm Collection: Conducted exploration mission to Maharashtra, Karnataka, Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar and West Bengal and Collected around 200 germplasm accessions belonging to Grasspea (21), Cowpea (14), Field Pea, Wild Vigna and other crops.
  • Germplasm Characterization and Evaluation: Large-scale characterization & evaluation of >15000 pulse germplasm  viz. Cowpea (3720), Lentil (2314), Pea (3,054), Grasspea (2,612), Mungbean and Urdbean 
  • Development of INGB core set: Lentil (170),  Cowpea (425) & Pea (244)
  • Registration of Trait Specific Genetic Stocks (24):. Lentil (7) Cowpea (4) Pea (1) Chickpea (2)& Tuber cowpea (1) etc.
  • PG Teaching: I associated as faculty in Division of Plant Genetic Resources of ICAR-IARI, New Delhi.
