Salient Achievements:
  • In vitro conservation and cryopreservation of temperate and minor (tropical) fruit species
  • In vitro collection includes 360 accessions of 10 genera.
  • As curator, about 200 new exotic accessions were introduced in the country from USA in 2005.
  • The accessions are readily available for research purposes.
