Salient Achievements:
In vitro
conservation and cryopreservation of temperate and minor (tropical) fruit species
In vitro
collection includes 360 accessions of 10 genera.
As curator, about 200 new exotic accessions were introduced in the country from USA in 2005.
The accessions are readily available for research purposes.
